Rodrigo Marilef Betanzo has a Masters in Philosophy ©, in Epistemology and a Bachelor’s degree in Hispanic Languages and Literatures, both from the University of Chile. His academic experience and preparation are in the fields of epistemology, the philosophy of language, and the teaching of critical thought.
Rodrigo is currently the Instruction Director of ESE:O, an organization committed to the design, development, and innovation of virtual education. As ESE:OS Academic Director, Rodrigo Marilef brings twenty years of experience in academic instruction informed by his expertise in epistemology, the philosophy of language and the teaching of writing. A co-founder of ESE:O, Mr. Marilef works on issues linked with critical thought and ways in which its revolutionary power can inspire students. His learning and teaching philosophy is to work on a personal level to meet the unique needs and goals of his students.
From 1999 until 2005 he was the Academic Coordinator for the Preuniversitario de la Universidad de Chile.
He has consulted for the Technological Institute of Monterrey, coordinating the team that prepared the contents and materials of the Diploma PISA / TEC - ESE:O "Development of reading skills" (2008, Monterrey, Mexico) and consultant to the Secretariat of Public Education Mexico. "National Continuing Education Program focused on PISA" (January 2009, Mexico City, Mexico). In addition, a researcher of the project "Program to promote the publication of findings of researchers from the" South "in international peer review journals in the field of Sexuality and Reproductive rights."
